Muscle Works!

Today I woke up pretty sore from running yesterday and was not in the mood to do anything. I took Haiden to school, got home, and checked my gym's website to see what classes they had today. There was a muscle works class that I never heard of before, but I know the instructor so I thought I'd give it a try. I had a little bit of time before the class started, so I ran a mile on the treadmill, just to warm up a bit and hopefully loosen my muscles. The class consisted of a weight bar and free weights. We did a pyramid workout, focusing on one part of the body doing 40x light weight, 24x medium weight, and 12x heavy weight. We did squats, alternating squats, upper back, shoulders, biceps, triceps, abs, and inner thighs. It was an awesome class!! I can feel it though and know I will definitely be sore tomorrow! So happy that I went to the gym! Even when I felt crappy before, I feel SO much better all around knowing I had a great workout! Now, I think it's time for a nap before work!! :)
