Day 3: Dancin' and Sweatin' Day 4: Run 20 minutes

Yesterday, I took a break during the day and took the kids to Lagoon! I knew I'd be getting my butt kicked later, so we enjoyed our last day at Lagoona beach. Then in the evening, I went to dance. Right away when we were just warming up I was sweating a ton, so I knew the rest of class was going to be an awesome workout! We did our warm up with stretching, leg toning, and ab work. Then we did our technique class. I felt good with the routines we did! We always focus on turn stuff, kicks, and leaps. It is such a fun class!! After, we did our workout. We would do 30 seconds or so focusing on a body part like jumping jacks, rest 10 seconds, burpees, rest, squat jumps, rest, weights, rest, ect. We do about 20-30 minutes of it. I love the variety we do in our workout class! It's nice to get a switch up on things! By that time, I was literally drenched!! It looked like I had just gotten out of a pool or something! I am one who sweats a lot, but love it! It shows just how hard I work!!

Today, I am having to work, and had a bunch of errands to run earlier, but will be going to the gym later to do my 20 minutes. Not looking forward to be on the treadmill, But I have to fit it in today somewhere! I don't mind working out late at night anyways, so it'll be good!!

Day 2: 20 minute run, Pinterest Abs

Today I ran for 20 minutes which was just over 2 miles. I felt so much better running today than I did yesterday! It was outside though, so that made a huge difference for me! My legs are a little shaky, but overall, I feel good! Then, I wanted to do some ab stuff, so I looked on my Motivation Pinterest board and did a Burning Core Pyramid. This is what it consisted of:

50 Crunches> 10 regular, 10 right, 10 left, 10 alternating, 10 regular
40 Mt. Climbers> 1 right, 1 left = 1
30 Side Crunches> 15 one side, 15 other side
20 In and Outs
10 Scissors> 1 right, 1 left = 1
20 In and Outs
30 Side Crunches> 15 one side, 15 other side
40 Mt. Climbers> 1 right, 1 left = 1
50 Crunches> 10 regular, 10 right, 10 left, 10 alternating, 10 regular

The Mt Climbers killed me, but I loved it! Definitely felt the work out!! :)

Excited for dance tomorrow!! Lets hope Nicole doesn't kill us too bad ;)

Week 1, Day 1

Today I went to the gym. I focused on my arms with free weights and some of the machines. I did 12 different workouts 3x, focusing on my shoulders, triceps, and biceps. I want to start looking at some of the cross fit training, just to switch up my toning stuff a bit. Then after, I ran 15 minutes on the treadmill which ended up being exactly 1.5 miles. I took it easier than I usually do. My legs and knees are still sore from Saturday, but I have to start running more just to get my body used to it. We'll see how I feel tomorrow with my run! Hopefully I wont be hating it too bad and hoping to run outside! The treadmill to me gets boring after a while!

So if you read my post on The Belshe Life, you will see that I am going to start training tomorrow for Tough Mudder and Ragnar! I went online and researched some training schedules and Ragnar's website had some good training stuff that I think will help me a lot! Here is my schedule for this week! It might change a little if I throw in a swim workout or dance stuff, but I wanted to put it down, so I know what to look forward in doing! Then I will blog each day of what I do in my workout! I think this will help and motivate me to accomplish my training!
