Catch up on my Week

So, I'm behind posting my workouts, but this week was really good for me!!

Monday, I ran for 30:00. I feel like I'm getting stronger with running, but I know it is still gonna be my weakest in the Triathlon. I just have to make sure and push myself even more since it'll be the last. I know having my ipod will help with music going!

Tuesday, I had my cycling class. It was Randy (my instructor's) last day teaching. She has been awesome! I am definitely gonna miss her! I really pushed myself with her class. I just love cycling!

Wednesday, Amie came and swam with Megan and I. She helped me with my technique. My freestyle is pretty good, but I tend to cross my right arm instead of keeping it straight. It was way hard trying to keep it forward, but I'm just gonna keep working on it! We swam about an 1800. Amie has a lot of different workouts, so it was fun to switch things up!

Then yesterday, I went and biked with my friend Todd. He is a huge bike person and helped me tons with what I need to know with my bike. It was my first time actually getting on it and riding for over an hour. He put the clip in pedals on my bike which took a while to get used to. I even had my first fall because I didn't get out of my pedal in time and fell over! It's bound to happen I guess!! I scraped up my knee pretty good and have quite the bruise, but if you know me, I like having battle wounds!! Overall though, it was a blast!! I am going to start biking at least twice a week so I feel comfortable on my bike!!

  1. Ya I like having battle wounds too. I have a ton from when I first started to mountain bike. Hey did Amie email her workouts to you? If so could you forward some to me. Mindy wants a few and I would as well. I love Amies workouts and miss the masters team she coached!
