Today I went to the gym and did the cycling class. It was quite the workout let me tell you! I was dripping sweat like crazy! I can tell with not cycling for a while how weak my knees are, but it was a good to get them going again. My plan is to go every Monday and Wednesday to that class to strenghthen my legs and knees. The instructor is awesome too! She is always so happy and encouraging to keep pushing us and going above our limits! In her workouts, she puts a variety of hills and alternates with intervals of sprints and recovery. It is INTENSE!! I love how good I feel after doing it though!
Then with my ab workout, I found this link off of Pinterest which led me to the blog http://www.bikinibodymommy.com. This lady was such an inspiration to me to get myself going and feeling confident in achieving my goals!! The workout I did off her blog was her Fav 5 ab workouts. I had never done any of them and HOLY MOLY!! They work ya GOOD!!!
As for eating, I was very aware of what I ate throughout the day. For breakfast I had 1 scrambled egg with salsa on a tortilla, after cycling, had chocolate milk. For lunch I had leftovers of chicken noodle soup that my hubby made, and snacked on a granola bar. Dinner wasn't the greatest, but I had 2 slices of pizza and then an apple for after snack. Oh, and also a half cup of hot chocolate. So, not the greatest, but I did drink a lot of water!! Sure made me pee a lot :) Hey, it's a start! Let's hope I stay strong and not have to drink soda this week! Such a bad weakness of mine!! Hoping to cut down to only 1 a week if that and then hoping to cut it out completely.
Oh, another thing I got thanks to bikinibodymommy, was fish oil and daily vitamins I am starting to take to not lose out on anything I might need for my body. So far so good!!
Overall, today was a great day! I felt energized, happy and excited for things coming up in my life!! Ready for a new day tomorrow and for dance!! Love my Tuesdays!! :)
