Insanity's Insane!!!!
Tuesday night, I did the cardio abs from Insanity. Those workouts are crazy, but so fun!! I love that I can switch it up with whatever else I do in the week. Yesterday, I couldn't do much in the morning since I was watching my cousin's kids, but I wasn't too worried though because of my 3 hours at dance. The first hour is always technique where we work on our flexibility, strength, turns, leaps, you name it! It is so much fun, plus an awesome workout! After we did cardio and strength where we started at 100 and went down to 10 doing each set something different, like 100 jumping jacks, 90 seconds of sprint runs, 80 seconds of plank, 70 squats, 60 seconds against the wall, 50 sit-ups, 40 switchers, 30 tricep pushups, 20 regular pushups, and 10 roll and jump ups (don't know the name.) Let me just say it was intense!! I feel so bad after cause I am so sweaty from the hour and a half, that to dance with the guys for our Xmas show is pretty embarrassing! As long as I don't stink right?? So yes, then the last 90 minutes is our Xmas show stuff. We perform in just a few weeks!! I am getting way excited about it!! There's a whole dance segment in between though that I am going non stop with partnering, to dancing, fuetes, leaps, and more partnering! Love every minute of it though!!! So like I said, with all the work I do Wednesday nights, if I don't do anything during the day, no need to feel guilty!! Dance is my workout for the day!! The bad thing though is that it leaves me exhausted on Thursdays where I don't want to do anything!! Can't let that from stopping me!! Once I am done with work tonight, I will be doing another Insanity workout. Let's hope I don't pass out!!
