MyFitnessPal
At the beginning of the week, I started using MyFitnessPal that my friend recommended to me. I never have tracked my calories before and never thought it to be necessary for me, but just tracking the first day and seeing the crap I put in my body was an eye opener for me!! I mean I try and eat healthy, but I've noticed that I eat way too much sugar and not enough protein, plus other nutrients I'm not getting enough of or too much of. I know with how much I workout and how active I am that I shouldn't be way strict with what I intake every day, but it really helps me to just know what foods I am getting for my body to stay at where it needs to be, plus I have about a month before I start performing, so I have to look good for that as well :) So far, it has been so good for me and helps me to second guess any sweets I might eat. Let's hope it keeps me on track and it will help me looking might fine for the summer lol... :)
