I just committed on doing the Halloween Half in October!! I am SUPER nervous about it, but know if I set my mind to it, I can do it!! I just have to stay positive since I am not a huge fan of running.
So, today was my first day of training. I pulled up a 1/2 marathon training schedule which I can include P90X into it. Here is my first week of what I'll be doing!
TUE 8/30 - 2 Miles Easy
WED 8/31 - P90X
THUR 9/1 - 2 Miles Easy
FRI 9/2 - P90X
SAT 9/3 - 4 Miles
Today I ran 2 miles easy. I felt good throughout doing 1 mile on the treadmill and the other mile on the track at the gym. I have to switch it up when I'm not outside! Let's just see how I start feeling after Saturday!! Wish me luck!!
