Day 1: 2 Week Iron Man
So, today was the first Day of the Iron Man. I decided to break my running up in 5-6 mile distances at a time, 3 days a week to get to 26.2 miles. Today I ran 5 miles.. well 4 miles I ran, 3 on the treadmill, and 1 on the track, and then the other mile, I did .5 incline on a 12 fast walking pace and .5 sprint/recover every minute. I have to change it up a bit since I HATE to run!! It really wasn't that bad though! My only problem are my knees! They get so achy and hurt after a while of running, but I'm hoping this whole making myself run more will be a good thing rather than bad!! Hopefully I'll be pumped and ready for my cycling tomorrow!! Wish me luck :)
